Fraunhofer Institute i Tyskland har utvecklat laserkristall och fiberteknologi som inte förlitar sig på sällsynta jordelement .
This technology simulates crystal composition and optimizes growth process to achieve the preparation of high damage threshold laser materials, which can be applied to quantum computing and medical imaging. The research team simultaneously developed rare earth-doped quartz and fluoride laser fibers to meet the needs of miniaturization of industrial and medical equipment. This breakthrough will be unveiled at the Munich Photonics Show in Juni .
